Works - Art

My mother was working as an Art Editor in State Institute of Encyclopaedic Publications (SIEP), which is a cultural institution functioning under the Department of Cultural Affairs, Government of Kerala. They are engaged in the publication of various encyclopaedias in Malayalam language including Sarvavijnanakosam (general encyclopaedia), Viswasahityavijnanakosam (encyclopaedia of world literature) and many other works.

Inspired by her drawings, oil paintings and illustrations, I started doing pencil drawings and water color paintings from my childhood. I managed to take photographs of my works and am sharing them here. Though I stopped drawing and painting before 2000, am seriously considering to continue those.

The medium used is water color. Some of the works were re-created from the paintings of well known artists. All these were done as part of my hobby.
